Came to M'Shoogy's in 2009

My name is Abbey. There is no hiding my feelings. My picture says it all. I have deep soulful eyes that tell a lot about the loneliness and shyness that I feel. Even in the sea of faces here at the shelter, I feel very alone. I want to know the love and comfort of a real home with someone to love me as much as I love them. Most people are looking to adopt a puppy or young dog, which I'm not. I am an official member of the senior class. I’m arthritic and take medication for low thyroid but it’s very cheap so don’t let that stop you. Few people know just how great adopting an older dog is. The old adage of "can't teach an old dog new tricks" isn't true. I beg of you to open your mind, heart and home to an older dog such as myself.
